A cash machine swallowed my card.

Why was your card not returned?

The most common reasons a cash machine keeps your card are:

  • you entered your PIN incorrectly more than 3 times.

  • your card has been blocked.

  • there’s a problem with the cash machine.

You'll need to contact your own bank or building society and let them know what's happened. They'll be able to order you a new card.

A cash machine didn't give me the money I asked for.

If you used a PS4C cash machine, you need to contact your building society or bank as soon as possible.

How to change your PIN.

If you know your PIN, you can change it at a cash machine.

Change your PIN using a cash machine.

  1. Insert your card into the cash machine.

  2. Enter your existing PIN.

  3. Select PIN services.

  4. Select PIN change.

  5. Choose your new PIN.

 

My card isn't working.

If you find your card isn't working or you're having problems making a payment with your card, there are a few things to check.

There's not enough money in your account.

Make sure there’s enough money in your account for the payment.

There's a problem with the card or cash machine (ATM).

There could be an issue with the cash machine (ATM). Try another cash machine (ATM).

Your card may be damaged, or the chip might be dirty, try cleaning the card chip with a dry tissue.

Contactless payments aren't working.

If contactless payments aren't working, try using Chip and PIN instead.

You'll need to use Chip and PIN:

  • when you're using a new contactless card for the first time

  • if you're making a payment of more than £100

  • every now and then as a security check.

Your PIN might be locked.

Your PIN will be locked after it’s been entered incorrectly 3 times.

Voucher Transactions

You must be a member of the Casino to use the Cash Advance Voucher System.

How does the Cash Advance Voucher work?

  1. Insert your card and choose voucher.

  2. Choose Voucher amount and insert your card PIN.

  3. Follow the instructions on the screen.

  4. Once the transaction is completed at the cash machine (ATM), you have 30 minutes to complete transaction at the Cashier Desk.

  5. You must have your QR Voucher as this will be required to complete your transaction.

  6. If you do not complete the transaction within 30 minutes of completing the ATM transaction, then the Cash Advance Voucher transaction will be cancelled and not money will be removed from your account.

What if I need assistance with my Cash Advance Voucher transaction?

Ask a member of the Casino staff or go to the Cashier Desk for assistance.

What should I do if I lose my QR Voucher?

Go to the Cashier Desk immediately and report that you have lost your QR Voucher.

What happens if the Cashier Desk declines my QR Voucher?

If the Cashier Desk declines your QR Voucher, then wait 30 minutes and the complete Cash Advance Voucher transaction will be cancelled. You can either complete another Voucher transaction or withdraw cash from the cash machine (ATM).

Withdrawals & Contactless

How do contactless payments work?

Contactless payments are a simple and easy way to withdraw from our cash machines (ATM).

  • Check your card has the contactless symbol.

If it does, you're ready to use contactless.

  • Tap your card on the card machine.

You'll need to tap your card or device if you're using a wallet app like Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay.

  • Make sure the card machine authorises your payment.

Your card or device will require your PIN to be inserted via the keypad to complete a contactless transaction.

At present the UK contactless limit for ATM withdrawals is £100.
